13 CHAPTERS, 202 PAGES, 3500 WORDS! Check out the #MissToMrs book that got everyone talking
A book titled Miss to Mrs by a Nigerian wedding counsellor, Phoebe Dami-Asolo, is currently trending on the internet.
According to the author, the book is a handy guide to assist intending brides to prepare for their big day.
Dami-Asolo on her Instagram page said the book was written from the angle of a bride and gives an expose into the bride’s line of thoughts and experiences.
She wrote,
“13 chapters, 202 pages, 35000 words from the most genuine part of my heart to help intending brides enjoy the process- The wedding process and the first year of marriage. ….. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I PRESENT——>MISS TO MRS:
“A guide to a stress-free wedding planning process from a real bride’s point of view.
“While planning my wedding, I took notes on a daily basis. I documented all my experiences including how I resolved issues I had with vendors, family and even my then husband-to-be.
“The journey was an eye-opener for me. I wish I knew that all that really mattered was you and your husband and the only job you have on your wedding day is to dance like there’s no tomorrow.
“This book has it all. Everything I wish I knew before my wedding day and even things I learnt in my first year of marriage.
“Planning your wedding can be stress-free, yes its possible!”
However, some Twitter users are using #MissToMrs to talk about their personal experiences and their journey from being single to married.
Some also used meme’s to describe the trending hashtag.
