The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up 10 places in the latest world ranking made public on Thursday by football governing body FIFA.
In the ranking released on FIFA website, FIFA.com, Nigeria is now placed joint 50th with Burkina Faso and Slovenia.
Nigeria garnered 616 points for the month of November after defeating Algeria 3-1 in the 2018 World Cup qualifier played earlier in the month.
As a result, Nigeria is now placed joint 7th with Burkina Faso at the continental level.

Meanwhile, on the global scene, South American giants, Argentina and Brazil remain first and second on the log. They are followed by Germany, Chile and Belgium to complete the top five.
Colombia, France, Portugal, Uruguay and Spain complete the top 10 in that order.
The last FIFA ranking for 2016 in December will be published on December 22.
