The Bring Back Our Girl campaign lead, Oby Ezekwesili, has confirmed that the recently released girl from the ranks of Boko Haram terrorists is one of the missing girls.
Reports had filtered in earlier in the day that Rakiya Gali was released by the Boko Haram terrorists as Nigerians burst into celebrations again.
And in a tweet by Ezekwesili, she identified the girl as one of those whose release they had been clamouring for since April 2014.

In the same vein, the BringBackOurGirls coalition confirmed that the girl rescued by the Army, Rakiya Abubakar with her six month old baby, is one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls.
The group in a statement by its spokesman, Sesugh Akume said it had verified that she is #49 on its lis of abducted schoolgirls.
“Rakiya Gali is indeed one of our missing Chibok girls. She is the 24th to return out of 219 missing #ChibokGirls. One hundred and ninety-five (195) remain missing.
“It is three days to #Day1000 and we remain highly hopeful that the rest of our girls will be rescued and reunited with their families.”
