Son of Washington Post publisher, William Graham commits suicide

An heir to the Washington Post publisher, William Graham committed suicide at his house in Los Angeles.

According to Washington Post, the 69-year-old lawyer was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot, said his brother Donald E. Graham, a former Post publisher and chief executive.

Graham was a lawyer at the Washington firm of Williams & Connolly in the 1970s before settling in Los Angeles, where he taught trial law at his alma mater, the University of California, Los Angeles.

His father Phil, who was the publisher of the newspaper for 17 years, killed himself back in 1963.
