AFCON 2019: Ivory Coast maul Namibia 4-1, advance to knockout stage with Morocco [Group D Table]
Morocco and Ivory Coast have advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
Arsenal target Wilfried Zaha, Maxwel Cornet, Max-Alain Gradel and Geoffroy Serey Die were on target as the Ivorians thrashed Namibia 4-1 in their final Group D game on Monday.
The result sealed six points for the Ivorians, which is enough to send them to the knockout stage.
Morocco also beat South Africa 1-0 to finish top of the Group D with maximum points.

Mbark Boussoufa’s late strike in the 90th minute dimmed South Africa’s qualification hopes.
While Namibia are out of the tournament, South Africa which finished third with three points face an anxious wait to find out if they qualify for the next stage as one of the best losers.
