Burna Boy apologises for kicking Ugandan man on stage

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has apologized over his kicking of a Ugandan fan during a show.

Burna Boy, who was in Uganda a week ago, says that the fan attempted to rob him while on stage during a show held in Zambia.

He took to social media to reveal that he warned the fan who was trying to rob him before he kicked him.

The singer further disclosed that man he kicked wasn’t a fan at all, and the way it looked in the video wasn’t how it came off.

“I am sorry about how it looks but this person continous (sic) tried to rob me on stage. It was like the 10th attempt to do it after telling him several times to stop. This wasn’t a fan. 

Apologies for how it looks but it’s not the case at all. I appreciate all my fans,” he wrote.

In a video that has been trending online, a hand belonging to one of the revellers in the audience is seen attempting to remove a ring from Burna Boy who was performing.
