Afro-fusion singer, Burna Boy, has appealed to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to release his friends Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile.

The singer who had joint hit track with Zlatan in 2018 said his Sunday show in Lagos was ruined without the “Zanku” crooner.

Alongside a picture of them, he wrote: “You see am now, no Zanku for my show today. My day is ruined.

“EFCC na beg I Dey beg please free them guys.”

The fast-rising stars who were arrested on April 10, 2019, are still in detention and will be arraigned soon

This was confirmed by EFCC Head of Media, Tony Orilade, he said;

“They are still with us and expectedly will be arraigned in court this week.

“No date has been fixed yet but as soon as I confirm, I’ll let you know.”

Recall that the pair were arrested for an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering. Intelligence report had also linked them to cybercrime offences.
