Coronavirus: MTN tells customers to self isolate, announce closure of MMA2 airport lounge
MTN has announced the closure of its MMA2 lounge office in Lagos Nigeria.
As a form of announcement the company has this to say:
“It has come to our attention that on March 18th 2020 an individual known to have been exposed to COVID 19 may have come into contact with a number of our staff at the MMA2 Airport Lounge in Lagos.
“All staff on duty have been placed in isolation at this time and our premises at the airport are closed for thorough disinfection.
As guided by the authorities, we suggest that any customer or guest who used the facility on or after March 18th should immediately self-isolate for 14 days and contact the NCDC on 080097000010 (toll-free) to receive guidance if they feel unwell.
“We have taken additional precautions across all open stores nationwide – operating reduced hours, maintaining strict hygiene and adopting social distancing measures. In addition, our virtual services provide a secure and convenient option.”
