Coronavirus: Nigerian wife cries out after husband took ill on arrival from Spain
A Nigerian woman identified as Ogene Augustina on Thursday has cried out to report her husband who took ill after returning from Spain in fear that he might be infected with the coronavirus.
Augustine reported the illness in a tweet to the Lagos State commissioner of health, Akin Abayomi, saying her husband flew into the country with Lufthansa airline LH568.
She raised an alarm that her husband showed symptoms of Coronavirus and may need to undergo tests, adding that she had tried all the hotlines given to the public for reporting the virus, but couldn’t get through to anyone.

Her tweets began to go viral as many Nigerians lamented how hotlines given out to the public are always ineffective.

Thereafter, the Lagos state commissioner of health, Prof Akin Abayomi was able to get in touch with her and gave her further instructions on steps to take.
