The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has said that God will sheath his sword in six days time and heal everyone affected by COVID-19.

The monarch made this known on social media in a post which advised people to keep social distancing and adhere to the other guidelines to curb the spread of the virus.

He wrote:

“Stay safe by keeping the distance and wearing masks, help your neighbour in need by feeding them and always wash your hands whenever you handle money and touch anything, check on your neighbour’s… we in this together until God kabiyesi Olodumare sheaths His sword in 6 days time and we all heal together !! The Oluwo of Iwo stated this just days after begging God to spare the rest of the world and infect only him with COVID-19.
