Cross River governor suspends aide for ‘mishandling privileged information’
Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has suspended his Special Adviser on Budget, Hon. Moses Onoh.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to the governor, Christian Ita, said,
“Hon. Onoh’s suspension, which is a direct consequence of his mishandling of privileged official communication, takes immediate effect.
“All appointees of government are hereby warned that His Excellency the Governor will not condone any abuse of the office of any kind, including the leaking of privileged official communication.”
Details about the information Onoh allegedly leaked were not provided in the statement.
Meanwhile, Onoh could not be reached as of the time of this report.
