(JUST IN) Ese Oruru: Six years after, court sentences abductor to 26 years imprisonment
The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has delivered the long-awaited judgement to Eze Oruru ‘s abductors.
This comes six years after the teenager was reportedly abducted and transported to Kano state where she was forced into marriage by one Yinusa Dahiru.
The accused identified as Yinusa Dahiru has been sentenced to 26 years in prison by a competent court in a case presided over by Justice Jane Inyang.

Justice Jane acquitted Dahiru on Count one but jailed him five years (count two), seven years (count three) seven years (count four) and seven years, count five.
According to the judge, the sentences would run concurrently.
