GHANA MUST GO AND THEY HAVE GONE! Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde screams after changing N10,000 to 120 cedis
Nollywood diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has been left stupefied after founding out N10,000 is only worth 120 cedis in Ghanaian currency.
She took to Instagram to share her surprise with a cryptic message: “#Ghanamustgo and they have Gone” – a reference to 1983 when Shehu Shagari, who was the President of Nigeria then, issued an executive order asking all immigrants without proper immigration documents to leave the country or risk arrest. Most of the immigrants were West Africans and mainly Ghanaians.
Well, it seems after leaving Nigerians, the Ghanaians settled down to work on their country and make it work.

Omo Sexy, who couldn’t hide her amazement that N10,000 was only worth C120, asked economists for some explanation, adding that $1 is worth a meagre C4.8.
The 40-year-old actress wrote,
Okay… So Economists, come and analyze oh… this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana.
Hmm… I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth …..
C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis)
Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!!
1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis !#Ghanamustgo and they have Gone, are they moving faster than us?
I don’t want to talk about the airport, Tubaba has already talked about that but I forgot both my phones while signing the immigration cards, about 10mins later, it was announced to pick them up at guest services! Ha!
#GiantofAfrica ? #Getbusy #Getbusy #Getbusy ???. Abi? I’m I missing something?
The actress is the second Nigerian celebrity to share the ‘wonders’ the country’s neighbours are turning their country into.
WuzupNaija recalls that 2Baba had last week shaded the Nigerian government over the poor state of Nigerian airports after landing in Ghana’s ultramodern airport in Accra.
