A bride-to-be died at the weekend after her car rammed into an abandoned truck along NPA expressway, Ekpan/Warri, Delta State.

The deceased, identified as Eyitemi Madamedon, was a staff of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission.

Wuzup gathered that the deceased’s father died after hearing the news of his daughter’s death.

Madamedon, who was driving, was said to be returning from Shoprite with her friends when she lost control of the car.

She died on the spot while her friends lost consciousness and were rushed to the General Hospital.

Reports said she was set to tie the knot in August and was scheduled to travel to the US today or tomorrow for her wedding shopping.
