I can retire now, DJ Cuppy says after ‘fulfilling her dream’
Nigerian disc jockey and singer, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy says she can now retire from being a DJ after fulfilling her dream of performing at the popular Fela’s Shrine
Cuppy performed at the Shrine on Saturday in honour of late Afro singer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
The Gelato crooner who could not contain her joy described her performance as a dream come true in a tweet via her verified Twitter handle @cuppymusic.
She tweeted:
“Got to DJ at the Shrine in Honour of Fela Kuti! Okay, I can retire now! #DreamsComeTrue.”
In another tweet she shared a video of herself dancing Zanku with some dancers and captioned:
“Performing at the Shrine is truly something else!”
