I HAD TO SWALLOW MY PRIDE! Former MTN project fame winner is now a cab driver [Video]
Some fans of Olawale Ojo, a 2013 MTN Project Fame West Africa winner, have expressed shock after a video showing that he is now cab driver circulated on the internet.
Many expressed their disbelief on their social media handles adding that he is a courageous and honest man.
Some also said that it was a responsible way to find a source of livelihood instead of being an internet fraudster or other questionable professions.
Ojo’s story was narrated by Tope Delano, a writer, who had an interview with him.
She shared excerpts from the interview on her Instagram page and also stated that the season six winner did not want to grant the interview but eventually succumbed.
Delano also urged people to praise Ojo for damning the odds and opting to drive a cab to ensure that there is food on the table.

Ojo told Delano that he decided to take on the cab-driving job in order to raise enough money to fund his studio sessions.
In the video, Ojo said that the entertainment industry is not as easy as generally perceived.
He said he decided not to sell the car he won but chose to convert it into a cab business to hustle.
Ojo further revealed that he told himself to swallow his pride and forget the platform that made him popular or the brand that he represents.
Ojo also said he started getting so depressed and concluded that nobody cared as long as you make a living for yourself.
WuzupNaija reports that Olawale Ayodele Ojo is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo,
He won N5 Million, an SUV and a year’s recording contract worth millions.
On September 26, 2014, he released his first album ‘Almost Famous’.
He worked with A-list producers and artists like Tiwa Savage, Lil Kesh, Skales on the album.
