IT’S NOT A GOOD DAY! Jenifer Lopez is being sued for posting her photo on her Instagram page
American singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez, has been sued for posting a photo of herself on her Instagram page.
According to reports, Michael Stewart, a professional photographer, says he took a picture of J Lo earlier this year. The photographer claims he licensed the photo to the Daily Mail, who ran it in an article on their website on June 29, 2018.
In the documents, obtained by TMZ, the photographer says he later discovered the shot was posted on her Instagram stories.
Jennifer or someone on her team added the caption. “Just by looking at her, you’d have to agree it WAS a good day.”
Stewart is suing Jennifer and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, for copyright infringement.
Stewart is seeking all profits from the photo which could win him up to $150k in damages.
While it may sound bizarre other celebrities who have faced lawsuits like this before, includes Blac Chyna and Khloe Kardashian.
Meanwhile, Lopez has not commented on the situation and is currently out and about promoting her new film “Second Act.”
