Man starts lone protest to denounce James Ibori as face of Urhobo people
The photo of a man protesting alone, against regarding James Ibori as the face of Urhobo nation has surfaced online.
The protester’s grouse may have stemmed from the jubilation that followed Ibori’s release and subsequent return to Delta State after spending four years in a UK court for crimes related to money laundering and fraud.
The unidentified protester’s photo and his placard which has crept into almost every social media timeline says: “This thief is not the image of the Urhobo nation. A photo of James Ibori was seen on the placard and many people believe the protester has a cogent point.
