he Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has lauded the appointment of Prof. Ibrahim Gambari,  as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The National Coordinator of the group,  Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, said on Thursday in a congratulatory message to Gambari that the choice of former Nigerian Permanent Representative to the UN is ideal and most appropriate.

“Professor Gambari, apart from being an International Scholar, Public Administrator and Economist, is an experienced diplomat, ” he said

Abdullahi said that Gambari’s international diplomatic experience would further add values to governance in the country.

“The appointment of Gambari would rekindle the hope of all patriotic Nigerians at home and abroad in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“There is no better time than now to change the course of direction of Buhari administration with people like Prof.  Gambari’s caliber, to redeem the image of the President and that of Nigeria as a country.  

“This well-thought-out decision of Mr. President is highly commendable,” he said
