NO WOMAN DESERVES TO BE RAPED! Tributes, anger as University student raped in May commits suicide
A university student has committed suicide three months after she was raped by her boyfriend.
Khensani Maseko, a third year Rhodes University student, reportedly committed suicide at her family’s home in Johannesburg on Friday afternoon.
The Rhodes University SRC has expressed shock at the death of the third year BA student. She was an SRC alumnus and a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

Khensani’s death comes at a time when South Africans are observing Women’s Month.
Tributes have been pouring in for the young woman on social media, with most posts reiterating the message that “no woman deserves to be raped”.

Her boyfriend she loved and trusted raped her back in May 2018. It affected her well being and she couldn’t cope. So she took her own life. But it was in fact her then boyfriend Sihle from Rhodes who took her life. Justice has not been served. #IBelieveYou #RIPKhensani pic.twitter.com/gOFn0IDTCP
