Reno Omokri launches search for Onitsha trader in viral photo
Reno Omokri, an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has launched a search for a trader who lost goods and his shop to Wednesday fuel tanker fire in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The yet-to-be-identified trader was seen in a viral photo standing in front of the ruins of his shop in grief.
Reno took to his verified Twitter handle on Thursday to ask social media users to help him locate the man as he plans to compensate him for his loss.
He tweeted:
“Can anyone help me identify the young man in red? Please if you know him or are him, reach me. There is hope. I can’t say what form the hope will take publicly, but there is hope. Treat as urgent and important.”
“Please scammers, fear God and restrain yourselves,” he warned fraudsters who may want to feast on the opportunity.
