The siege at a branch of First Bank at Mpape area of Abuja, which started in the early hours of Saturday has ended.
The robbers, who had been trapped in the bank for several hours, have been arrested by a joint team of the police and soldiers.
One of them was eventually killed by the superior firepower of the security agents.
Some eyewitnesses claimed that a staff was also nabbed, while the suspects were said to have claimed that “an insider” was working with them.
