THREE WERE FRESH! Police arrest five with 11 human skulls, hairs in Kwara
The Kwara Police Command has arrested five suspected ritualists caught with 11 human skulls, various human bones and hair at Aromaradu Area, Adewole Ilorin.
The state Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Fafowora, disclosed this on Friday, while parading the suspects at the police headquarters in Ilorin.
Bolaji Fafowora gave the suspects names as: Azeez Yakub, Salima Azeez, Isah Wasiu, Abubakar Isiaka and Soliu Yakub.

He said that the suspects were arrested by the police on October 5, following the information received from residents of the area.
He said eight of the human heads found at the home of the suspects, were already dried while the remaining three were fresh.
Investigators also found suspected human hair in possession of the suspects.
He added that investigation into the matter was ongoing and the suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigation was concluded.
He said,
“Acting on intelligence available to the command about suspected ritual killings around Adewole area of Ilorin by some ritualists, detectives from the police command swooped on a building located at 20 Ile-Ope area of Aromaradu, Adewole, Ilorin, and Yakubu Azeez and four other suspects were rounded up.

“A search was conducted in the building, 11 human skulls, several suspected human bones, a bunch of suspected human hair and other items were recovered.”
He also said that one Segun Akande was arrested on Sept. 22 at Sapati Area Ilorin over an alleged theft of one Toyota Serena Bus with registration number KSF 626 XR belonging to KASMAG Transport LTD.
