Tiwa Savage boycotts DSTV concert in South Africa over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians
Nigerian music artiste, Tiwa Savage, has cancelled her planned performance in South Africa scheduled to hold on the 21st of September, 2019.
She was billed to perform at the DSTV Delicious Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 21st of September, 2019.
The singer announced her decision in a tweet via her verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Her decision was prompted by the latest Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

She tweeted:
I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.
