Yahaya Bello sprays money on passersby in Abuja to celebrate Buhari’s tribunal victory
The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, caused gridlock in Gwagwalada area of Abuja on Wednesday evening after stopping his long convoy and started spraying money at passersby while jubilating the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal.
According to Daily Trust, Bello was heading to Lokoja from Abuja with his long convoy when he slowed down at Madam Mercy junction along the Abuja – Lokoja road, brought out a wrapped three bundles of N500 notes and threw them out at passersby.
Daily Trust reporter, who was caught up in the gridlock which lasted for just ten minutes, observed as the governor wind down the glass of his vehicle and displayed eight of his fingers (4+4) while some motor park touts at the popular Wazobia Park were seen hailing the governor as they rushed to grab the money.

It was further observed that some pedestrians, petty traders by the roadside as well as some commercial motorcyclists abandoned their motorcycles and scrambled for the money.
