The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested a 19-year-old suspected traffic robber at the Oshodi area of the Lagos metropolis.

The suspect was arrested on Saturday around 9 p.m. by the RRS riders at Oshodi-Oke, inward Anthony-Oke area.

The suspect, operating with a colleague at the spot, had tried unsuccessfully to rob a man in traffic.

In a statement yesterday, the RRS disclosed how the suspect was apprehended.

It said:

“Our riders, acting on report, laid a siege to the duo. Adedoyin was arrested while robbing in traffic.”

It added that the suspect had been handed over to Makinde Police Station in Oshodi and the riders had gone after his colleague.
