The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be wearing a customised native attires as they fly to Russia on Monday for the commencement of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Instagram page of John Mikel Obi with the caption:
Russia here we come 🇳🇬 #Naija
It was gathered that the Super Eagles were supposed to wear the customised attires during their visit to President Muhammadu Buhari last month but the stylist failed to meet the deadline set by the Nigerian Football Federation.
The native attires are designed in a South-South style with a hat to complete the outfit.
The Super Eagles will depart Austria on Monday for Russia after an eight-day intensive training camp.
