2018 WORLD CUP! Rohr speaks ahead Argentina clash
Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr has said the Super Eagles must be on the attack against Argentina in their last group match of the 2018 World Cup clash in Saint Petersburg on Tuesday.
Rohr said that playing draw with the South American giants is not in his plan, noting that his team will take its chances in a bid to reach the round of 16.
The Super Eagles are second in the group with three points, while Argentina is bottom with one.
A win for the Super Eagles guarantees passage to the knockout rounds while a draw will be enough if Iceland failed to beat Croatia.
Rohr, who spoke with Nigeria Football Federation press release on Sunday said,
“Simply put, we must take even half chances, and be on the offensive as much as possible.”
