Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari might win the 2019 presidential election if the opposition does not present the best candidate.

In what appeared to be a warning, Fani-Kayode, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, said the opposition parties need to tighten loose ends and unite to defeat the incumbent president.

Fani-Kayode also advised that the opposition stop the “petty bickering and present one credible and acceptable candidate in 2019”.

He made this statement on his Twitter page. Fani-Kayode wrote,

“Finally hear this. If the opposition does not roll out its best guns, get its act together, unite, stop playing childish games, stop the petty bickering and present one credible and acceptable candidate in 2019, @MBuhari will be back for another four years. The choice is ours.”
