A prominent politician is set to announce he has coronavirus, says Kemi Olunloyo
Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has again stirred up reactions on the social media as she hinted that an announcement would soon be made by a prominent Nigerian politician who had tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Kemi in a tweet on her microblogging site account on Thursday morning, a politician will announce his Coronavirus test result and will apologise to many persons that he had contact with.
She tweeted:
“A prominent Nigerian politician is about to announce that he has #COVID19 & very ill but is sorry that he has had contact with some of you and u must get tested ASAP. I will let his office spokesman do the honor of telling you. It can’t be kept secret forever. Many infected #IJCovid19.”
Olunloyo had a few days ago promised to reveal some fresh details about Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
According to the journalist in a tweet on Tuesday evening, she would also unveil secrets about the possibility of Kanu being dead and already replaced by a body double as Nnamdi of Sudan.
Responding to the claims a few moments later, IPOB National Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful rubbished the report and declared that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is hale and hearty.
