A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE! Obasanjo made a grave mistake by asking Nigerians to vote for Buhari in 2015, says Eedris Abdulkareem
Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, has warned Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming elections stating that former president Olusegun Obasanjo made a grave mistake by asking Nigerians to vote for Buhari in 2015.
The singer stressed that Nigeria is not for sale adding that wise citizens need to turn their back against bad politicians.
Abdulkareem further appealed to Nigerians not to be an easy pawn in the hands of greedy politicians who entice followers with a few dollars.
The “Jaga Jaga” crooner wrote on his Instagram page;
“A word is enough for the wise Nigerians. Only Nigerians will stop few in our midst that use our dear country like a football pitch and playing on our intelligence with few dollars.
“Please, show respect to yourself and meditate over this. Nigeria is not for sale, please. Turn your back against these bad politicians and show them that Nigeria is not for sale.
“It’s now clear that Obasanjo made a grave mistake by asking Nigeria to vote for Buhari in 2015. Take it or leave it. Leopard can never change its skin.
“A word is enough for the wise. Love Naija and put Nigeria first. Don’t run after those coming back to destroy our future. Thank you.”
WuzupNaija had earlier reported that The Presidency described the 16-page letter former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari as a “last push by desperate politicians who can’t handle the President politically and have resorted to subterfuge”.
In case you missed it here is a full text of Obasanjo’s open letter accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to rig the 2019 elections.
