Advent of GSM in Nigeria: Samklef lambastes Obasanjo for taking glory
In a social media post, Singer and music producer, Samklef advised Nigerians against giving credit to men like Obasanjo because GSM came into Nigeria through a private sector initiative.
Sanklef slammed former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the claim that his administration brought GSM to Nigeria.
He also accused Obasanjo of being behind the form of democracy practised in Nigeria which he says is being enjoyed by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
He wrote:
“Obasanjo did not bring GSM to Nigeria. It was a private sector initiative. Obasanjo sold the most expensive license ever recorded in the world. U people need to wise up and stop giving credit to these men of no vision.
“Dubai came to loan money from Obasanjo. Look at Dubai today and look Nigeria today.
“We are still practising army arrangement democrazy which was created by Obasanjo and that is the Template likes of Buhari are using. Dey don buy 90 % Nigeria media. But can’t buy social Media.”
