AFCON 2019: Ivory Coast beat South Africa 1-0 [See Group D Table]

The Elephants of Ivory Coast defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa by a lone goal in their first match of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Jonathan Kodija’s goal in the 64th minute of the match at the Al-Salam Stadium, Cario, gave the West African nation three point to go top of the Group D table.

Ivory Coast are on the same point with Morocco which also has three points after defeating Namibia by a goal, but the Ivorians went top of the table based on alphabetical arrangement.
