American actor, Will Smith, will be singing alongside Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi to perform the official song of the 2018 World Cup taking place in Russia.

VIBE reports that the song which is being produced by Diplo is set to be released on Friday.

The three-man collaboration anthem is still undergoing final touches with Smith currently in Budapest with Nicky Jam.

Smith and Nicky Jam have posted videos singing karaoke of the others’ songs. He even told Nicky Jam to remix his Jaden’s hit song ‘Icon’.

The 49-year-old Smith, who is a producer, rapper, comedian and songwriter has not released an album since 2005’s ‘Lost and Found’.

Meanwhile, the World Cup usually has several songs associated with it but the official anthem is usually performed at the finale.
