Angry mob attack police station, drag out suspected killer and set him ablaze
The Police in Ugep, a community in Cross River state, failed to stop an irate mob from forcefully dragging out a suspected killer before setting him ablaze.
According to reports, the deceased had attacked a commercial motorcyclist in an attempt to steal his bike. However, the bike rider fought back prompting the robber to bathe the cyclist with petrol and set him ablaze.
The victim was found minutes after by sympathizers who took him to the hospital. The thief was later arrested by the police.
Unfortunately, the young man who was set ablaze passed away yesterday morning.
So, angry youths went to the police station, brought out the thief and burnt him by the roadside in front of the station as can be seen in photos below.
