A Nigerian man who operates a restaurant in Cross River state has been apprehended by a mob for allegedly killing a lady and using her parts to prepare pepper soup for sale.

The suspect was said to have carried out the dastardly act with his friends still on the run.

An angry mob in the community where he was apprehended paraded him as they severely beat him.

A social media user shared the video of the suspect being interrogated by residents of the community.

While he was being questioned about where he kept the head of his victim, he was heard saying he carried out the act with another Hausa man.

The mob, however, forced him to to carry the pot still containing the pepper soup and meats believed to be human parts. They ordered him to lead him to where his accomplices were.
