Angry mom storms school, breaks teacher’s head for beating her son
An angry woman is facing time in prison for allegedly attacking and injuring a teacher with an umbrella.
It was gathered that 40-year-old Itumeleng Lizbeth Letsepe stormed Leema Primary School in Tlhatlaganyane near the Sun City resort in North West, South Africa to teach a grade 3 teacher a lesson for beating her son.
Letsepe, who arrived at the school premises early, waited at the school gate and attacked Mpuseng Sepotokele, 52, as soon as she saw her.
Sepotokele was allegedly repeatedly assaulted on the head and hands with the umbrella and sustained injuries including open wounds.
Letsepe ran away but was later brought to the school by community members and handed over to the police who were obtaining a statement from Sepotokele.
The woman is being charged with assault.
She appeared briefly in the Mankwe Magistrate’s Court in Mogwase on Monday and her case was postponed to March 4 for a bail application.
Letsepe told the court that she would conduct her own defence.
She is facing a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The teacher denied beating any learners.
