Anita Okoye unveils TannkCo for children
Top musician, Paul Okoye’s wife, Anita Okoye, today launched an online shopping platform, TannkCo, to celebrate Children’s Day.
Speaking about the new initiative during a recent photo shoot to tell the brand’s story, Okoye described TannkCo (www.Tannkco.com) as an affordable luxury children’s apparel company.
She said,
“We deal in affordable and quality wears for boys and girls between the age bracket of 0-10. These include casual and formal wears for children, as well as baby layettes and underwear.”
According to her, one can see the attention and focus paid to the quality, ease and functionality of the clothes from the TannkCo line during the ‘Kids-Being-Kids’ photoshoot. The mother of three added,
“It’s easy to see that this brand will be an immense rave with the kids. With TannkCo, parents don’t have to wait for the long summer holidays to update their wardrobes. We plan to open the TannkCo boutique soon in Lekki, Lagos.”
The entrepreneur and author said TannkCo was the baby she had been working on for a while and she was excited to introduce her to the market. Okoye stated,
“This brand is a true representation of what I stand for and I am passionate about it. There is a definite need for affordable, well designed and high quality wears for kids.
“Although TannkCo has its own line of baby and kids apparel, we are also currently the exclusive distributor for Monna Rosa Milano, a European fashion apparel company.
“There is so much that Tannkco will be unveiling this year, but right now, looking at the models, how comfortable and fun they are in their TannkCo attires, gives me joy. It also makes me believe that I am on the right track.”
