Social media users have been thrown into uncontrolled excitement following announcements that the Big Brother Naija reality show will return in February.

Fans of the reality show took to their Twitter handles and Instagram pages to express divergent views about the reality show which is scheduled to take place in Nigeria for the first time since its return.

Recall that WuzupNaija earlier reported that the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr John Ugbe, disclosed this at a media briefing held in Lagos on Tuesday.

Some BBNaija fans on Twitter urged the organisers to look out for incoming housemates with morals worth emulating adding that the season four housemates should be picked based on merit.

Some complained about the unhealthy competitions the reality show creates among netizens and young citizens.

However, many welcomed the news with enthusiasm and posted hilarious memes showing how ready they are for the show.

Auditions for the show will hold on Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 in eight states across Nigeria namely Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Ibadan, Benin and Enugu.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return to host the show which is expected to be for a duration of 90 days while the construction of the house is underway.

Meanwhile, the #BBNaija prize money has not been revealed as well as the number of housemates who will be participating.
