A lap top computer thief was baited and caught with one of the most unconventional methods recently.

Twenty-one-year old Tosin Lamidi was arrested after Gift Nseobong, from whom he stole a laptop and phone contacted him and offered him sex in exchange for her SIM card.

According to PM Express, the burglary took place at 8 Mutiatu Okesalu Street, Ikotun, Lagos while Lamidi was arrested at Ikotun Roundabout where he arranged to meet Nseobong to take her to a hotel as planned.

The suspect was arraigned in a Lagos Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo where he was charged with conspiracy and stealing. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Adeyemi, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 and ordered him to be remanded in Kirikiri, till he perfects his bail.
