ARMED WITH A GUN! 22-year-old steals three cows in Katsina, lands in police custody
A 22-year-old man, Labiru Umar, of Doka village in the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State has been arraigned before a Katsina Senior Magistrates’ Court for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery.
While armed with a gun, Umar and four others, now at large, were said to have on September 7, 2018 invaded the house of one Liman Suleiman of Unguwar Doka village, where they allegedly stole three cows.
The other four accused were identified as Umaru Bakuganewa, Hudu Waruwas, Bello Maiduwa and Dan Lukuti.

The police told the court that the charges against Umar and the other accused were contrary to Section 6 b(1)(2)(a)(b) of the Robbery and Firearms Provisions Act, Cap.R11, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
Umar was remanded in prison till November 8, 2018, when his case would come up for mention before Senior Magistrate Hajiya Dikko.
