Arsenal celebrates ex-Super Eagle’s Kanu’s signing 21 years ago
Kanu was signed by Arsenal from Inter Milan after just twelve games and one goal on January 15th, 1999, for approximately £4.15 million.
The club made a video of five of Kanu’s best goals in the Gunner shirt which it posted on Wednesday on Twitter.

Kanu Nwankwo, also played for the English side under Wenger from 1999-2004.
The 43-year-old is a member of the “Invincibles,” the Arsenal side that finished the 2003–04 season of the English Premier League undefeated.
He remains a popular figure at Arsenal, being applauded when he appears at the Emirates Stadium.
