Assault: Davido, Peruzzi apologise to Twitter influencer, Pamilerin

Nigeria’s music artistes, Davido and Peruzzi, has apologised to a Twitter influencer, identified as Pamilerin Adegoke, @thepamilerin, over a recent assault on his person.

Davido via his Twitter handle said it was wrong of his signee, (Peruzzi) to have slapped Pamilerin adding that celebrities are also humans.

He further faulted Pamilerin for saying ‘harsh’ words to Peruzzi saying his utterances were painful.

Davido wrote;

“I apologize to you @thepamilerin on behalf of my Brother and Artist @Peruzzi_VIBES he was wrong for putting his hands on you but people need to realize that we Artist are human beings and we see everything! You said some harsh words too my brother and sometimes this thing dey pain!”

Meanwhile, Peruzzi has also apologised to Pamilerin and aggrieved Twiter users.

The singer admitted to letting his feelings get the best of him, adding that he’ll never get in such mess again.

Peruzzi said,

“I did very wrong for yesterday slapping Mr Pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to Mr Pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise. ❤️

“People come on here to say things just to get RTs and Likes. But you never get to really understand cos you’re on the “funny” end of the whole thing.

“Someone else is somewhere feeling hurt because you don’t see that very thin line between Opinion and Insult.

“Nobody Holy. We learn To Grow.”

According to Pamilerin, the assault took place in Bayelsa State over posts he had made on social media earlier in the year.

Pamilerin said he got into trouble for comparing Peruzzi and Teni after the latter beat Peruzzi alongside other artists to win the Next Rated Artiste at the Headies Awards.

Their apologies have since been scrutinised by social media users who have continued to give their two cents about Peruzzi’s uncultured manners.

Many said the singer will never be as good as his colleague, Teni Apata, a.k.a Teni the entertainer.
