Following the discovery of the remains of another lady in a hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, a lady has taken to social media to alert Nigerians that a serial killer may be on the prowl.

WuzupNigeria reports that the strangled remains of no fewer than seven girls had been discovered, at different times, in Rivers, Imo, Edo, Lagos, and Delta states. One was also uncovered in the Federal Capital Territory.

Reacting to the killings, Otuekong Favour, who described herself on Facebook as an Energy Correspondent, said the deaths might be linked to a serial killer.

She wrote on Facebook,

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

There is a serial killer on the prowl. A Zorro wannabe, who leaves a trademark or signature behind all his killings.

From my observation, this killer’s victims are young girls. He lures them to an hotel for N10,000 in exchange for sex and then kills these girls in the process. After killing them, he takes away their clothes, phones and everything, leaving his victims stark naked, with a piece of white cloth tied on their neck.

He has killed seven girls already, two in Port Harcourt, one in Owerri, Lagos, Abuja, Benin and Delta with the same pattern and the same signature.

I hope our security agents can track this guy down asap, before he gets to his next victim.
