Ayade declared winner of governorship election in Cross River State
The Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], has been declared the winner of the Governorship election.
He polled a total of 381484 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress [APC] candidate, Senator John Owan-Enoh, who scored 131161.
The Social Democratic Party [SDP] candidate, Eyo Ekpo scored 4818 votes.
The returning officer for the governorship election in Cross River State, Prof Akii Ibhadode said that “Ben Ayade, having scored the required number of lawful votes is hereby declared winner of the election.”
