BEDC official electrocuted while disconnecting electricity cable in Delta [Video]
An official of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) has lost his life while trying to disconnect an electricity cable in Delta state.
It was gathered that the yet-to-be-identified electricity worker was on duty in a community in Sapele trying to disconnect cable and got electrocuted in the process.
A video of the scene of the incident presently making the round on social media showed the lifeless body of the man dangling on the pole as a man believed to be an official of the electricity distribution company tries to rescue him.
Some residents and sympathisers were also sene around the area lamenting over the man’s death.
