Lawmaker assures constituents of better days ahead.

Mr Samuel Tsebe who is a member of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has reassured his constituents of better days ahead as he marked one year in office.

Tsebe, representing Akwanga South Constituency, renewed his service commitment during a prayer session to appreciate God for his protection and guidance on Sunday.

Tsebe of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) assured his people that he would not fail in his responsibilities towards impacting positively in their lives.

The legislator said that he would continue to provide infrastructures across communities in order uplift the standard of living of the people of the area and the state at large.

He said that God had been faithful to him, hence the need for the prayer to thank Him.

“Within this one year in office, I have provided employment opportunities and initiated good policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of my constituency.

“I want to reassure the people of my constituency of better days ahead and they should key into positive policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on their lives,” Tsebe said.

The lawmaker also assured the people of his constituency of a robust representation in the state legislature.

He also pledged an all inclusive leadership by carrying everyone along in order to enable the people of the area gain more.

Tsebe urged the people of the state to continue to support government policies and programmes in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Speaking at the occasion. Mr Nehemiah Dandaura, the Deputy Speaker of the state legislature, assured everyone of working together with Tsebe irrespective of political affiliations in order to attract development to the area.

Dandaura, who represents Akwanga North, also pledged the assembly’s readiness to enact laws and pass resolutions that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

On their parts, Mr Kwanta Yakubu, Special Adviser to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Youths, and Mr Samuel Meshi, the Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Council, congratulated the lawmaker for  successfully clocking one year in office.

They special guests however urged Tsebe to provide purposeful leadership and carry his constituents along irrespective of party differences for development to thrive in the area.

Earlier, Rev. Apostle Paul Makama of ERCC Christ the King, Akwanga, and the representative of the Chief Imam of Akwanga, Mallam Baba Gana, admonished Christians and other Nigerians to always thank God in order to get more blessings and favours.

They advised Tsebe to always depend on God in his activities for him to continue receiving His blessings.

Newsmen reports that the prayer session had in attendance Sen. Philip Gyunka, former deputy governors of the state, traditional rulers, religious leaders, politicians, supporters and other well wishers.

A major highlight of the event was the cutting of an anniversary cake amidst exchange of pleasantries.
