Suspected hoodlums have allegedly attacked a Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

According to a Facebook post by one Omowele Isirameiya Morrison, the alleged APC hoodlums belong to another faction of the All Progressives Congress, in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.

Morrison said that the victim, Mrs. Maris Igbons was rushed to a medical centre for immediate treatment and later referred to UBTH for brain surgery

Omowele Isirameiya Morrison wrote,

“APC v APC faction of Edo state former governor Adams Oshiomole fighting Godwin Obaseki faction in esan west APC factions, beating up a present SA to the Godwin Obaseki on political affair.

“Mrs Maris Igbons yesterday she was rush to eromosele medical centre ujeolen road ekpoma and early hours of today was referred to UBTH for surgical operation of the brain.

“She Was beating up by esan west local government hoodlums. It’s a pity that in APC they have no respect for their leaders.”
