BREAKING: 21 new Chibok Girls regain freedom from Boko Haram
Reports reaching WuzupNaija have it that another set of Chibok girls have been released by Boko Haram insurgents on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
The girls, it was gathered, were taken to Yola International Airport in Yola, the Adamawa state capital at about 3 pm and it was confirmed that they were part of the over 200 who were kidnapped from Borno over two years ago.
Presidential Spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said: “These 21 released girls are supposed to be talebearers to tell the Nigerian government that this faction of Boko Haram has 83 more Chibok girls.
“The faction said it is ready to negotiate if the government is willing to sit down with them.”
