Breaking: One feared dead, commercial bus burnt in Oke-Afa fuel tanker fire
A fuel laden tanker that fell at Oke-Afa in Isolo area of Lagos on Monday evening has caused an early morning tragedy in the area today.
According to eyewitnesses, spillage from the fuel tanker caught fire on Tuesday morning, a woman was burnt while a commercial bus was also razed.
The incident has caused heavy traffic gridlock on the road.
The fuel laden tanker had fallen at Oke-Afa on Monday and it was gathered that the tanker fell due to the bad portion of the road.
Officials of the Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA), the response unit of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), and the police were reportedly at the scene on Monday evening to manage the situation.
